The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established maintenance contractor, is seeking an organised and proactive Scheduler to join their busy office in South Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong coordination skills to become a key part of a supportive team, helping to ensure engineers are deployed effectively and clients receive a high-quality service.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule maintenance works for engineers and subcontractors.
  • Manage diaries, allocate jobs, and adjust schedules in response to emergencies or last-minute changes.
  • Liaise with clients to confirm appointments and provide updates.
  • Ensure works are completed within agreed timeframes and compliance standards.
  • Record and update job information accurately on company systems.
  • Work closely with operations and management teams to support smooth service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Essential:
  • Previous experience in a scheduling, coordination, or administration role.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and ability to learn scheduling/CRM systems.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience within maintenance, facilities management, or construction industries.
  • Awareness of compliance requirements (e.g. gas, electrical, building services).
