Job description

SC Cleared Senior Security Consultant - £70K Base Salary - Remote Working - ASAP Start

Our client is looking for an SC Cleared Senior Security Consultant for a permanent position offering up to £70K Base Salary plus benefits / bonuses.

You’ll be working for a Defence consultancy on MOD and Government projects. You must hold active SC Clearance to apply and they're ideally looking for candidates based in / commutable to the South West of England - the role will mostly be remote but there will be occasional travel to client sites (travel and accommodation will be covered).

On average, you’ll be asked to be onsite in the South West twice a month.

We’re looking for candidates with the following experience:

• Experience working in Security Assurance / GRC / Product Security
• Experience developing and implementing information security management systems
• Experience working with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, ISF, PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials)
• Experience working within Defence / UK Government / MOD
• Must have active SC / DV Clearance
• Experience working with stakeholders / customers - must have good communication skills
• Current certifications would be a big bonus - CISSP, CISM, Cloud Certs (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Worth noting that this client offers generous bonuses, are happy to cover certification and training costs, offer a health and well-being bonus (£100 a month) and will cover expenses / mileage when asked to be onsite.
