Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking personnel to support a rigorous onboarding process and to drive SLA/KPI attainment. The role involves incident/change processing in Service Now and Jira, documentation in Confluence, and cross-country collaboration.

The position includes a 3x8 shift pattern with on-call duties and a strong emphasis on security and high-quality customer service. Candidates will work with Cisco/Aruba/F5 networks and related technologies in a heavy aircraft manufacturing context,

Qualifications

• On-boarding process 3 months to serve independently
• Pro-active actions to ensure SLAs and KPIs are achieved
• Regular documented updates using Service Now and Jira
• Incidents and Changes managed daily
• Preparation of Changes with testing and documentation
• Entry into Service (EiS) activities assisting colleagues
• Project implementation assistance
• Daily monitoring and alerts with quick action
• Escalation to colleagues when guidance needed
• Updating Confluence documentation diligently
• Hardware: equipment installation, configuration, implementation and de-commissioning
• Stock management and inventory updates with accuracy
• Adherence to H&S requirements on site
• Cross-country collaboration with UK and non-UK colleagues
• Participation in Google, MS Teams, and customer meetings
• On-call rota: 1 in 3 weeks over 7 days
• Input on improvements for self and colleagues
• Ability to work in a security-conscious environment
