Job summary

VIQU IT in London seeks a Network Engineer with active security clearance to join a hybrid team. Initially home-based with future attendance at offices and data centres, you will support BAU tasks and contribute to a major technical transformation focused on routers, switches, security, and firewalls.

You will bring experience in enterprise environments, P1 support, and strong knowledge of Checkpoint/ASA/Firepower, Infoblox, Nexus, and Cisco ACI. CCNA/CCNP and other Cisco technologies are valued.

Qualifications

• Security clearance required: SC/DV or DV/SC preferred.
• Experience with enterprise networks and large-scale BAU and projects.
• Experience with Checkpoint, ASA, and Firepower firewalls (including VSX).
• Strong routing knowledge (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and SD-WAN/ Cisco ACI experience.
• Experience with Infoblox and DDI is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide BAU support and participate in technical transformation projects.
• Participation in migration and rollout of network infrastructure in London data centres.
• Attend initial home-based work with future office/data centre attendance.
• Work on routers, switches, security, and firewall configurations.

Network Engineer - Security Cleared - London - Hybrid - Inside IR35

The role will initially be home-based, but there will be a requirement to attend their offices / Data Centres in the future.

This Security Cleared Network Engineer will be joining an existing Network Engineer Team, to assist with both BAU Support and in the delivery of their ongoing Technical Transformation, working on projects with a focus towards Routers, Switches, Security and Firewalls.

This prestigious firm are going through a period of significant change and transformation and are looking to bring their Global IT Department in to the 21st Century.

Key Experience for this Network Engineer will include:

• Security Cleared / SC Cleared / DV Cleared
• Ideally qualified to CCNA / CCNP Level
• BAU and Project experience
• Experience of working within an Enterprise Environment
• P1 experience
• Checkpoint / ASA / Firepower Firewall experience essential - including VSX
• Experience working F5 LTM/ DNS & Load Balancing
• Infoblox & DDI experience essential
• Vast experience of Nexus and Catalyst switching
• Experience with routing protocols including BGP\\EIGRP\\OSPF
• SD Wan - Cisco ACI experience
• And Cisco ISE & Cisco Prime experience an advantage
