Job summary

ECS Resource Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist on a contract basis in Preston. The role focuses on delivering Levels 1 and 2 support from a local team, diagnosing hardware and Windows OS issues, and using ServiceNow for ticket lifecycle management.

The contract is initially six months with potential extension. Applicants should hold SC Clearance, ITIL Foundation, and have evidence of frontline service desk experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in Level 1 & 2 support in a Service Desk environment.
• ITIL Foundation qualification or higher.
• Evidence of Level 1 & 2 technical assistance in a Service Desk or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide Levels 1 & 2 IT support to users as part of Local Support Team.
• Diagnose hardware, software, OS and basic connectivity issues (LAN/WiFi).
• Log, track and manage ticket lifecycle using ServiceNow.
