Job summary

ECS Resource Group is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist for a contract role in Preston. The position is initially 6 months, requiring on-site work five days a week. The salary is 230 per day and inside IR35.

You will join the local team to provide Level 1 and 2 technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and Windows OS issues, and manage tickets in ServiceNow. Ideal candidates will hold SC Clearance, ITIL Foundation, and have proven Service Desk/L2 support experience,

Qualifications

• SC Clearance (current)
• ITIL Foundation qualification (or higher)
• Evidence of Level 1 & 2 technical assistance in a Service Desk/Walk Up Tech Bar/L2 Technical Support role
• Experience using ServiceNow, especially Reporting & Dashboarding
• Ability to diagnose hardware and Windows OS issues

Responsibilities

• Provide Levels 1 & 2 support to users.
• Undertake diagnostics & troubleshooting for hardware, software, OS & basic connectivity (LAN/WIFI).
• Use ServiceNow to log, track & manage the lifecycle of tickets.

IT Support Specialist (Contract)

Preston, (full time & 5 days on site)

Contract: Initially 6 months - starting imminently

Are you an experienced IT Support Specialist who enjoys building strong customer relationships, improving service performance and taking ownership when challenges arise?

Previous experience:

• Do you hold current SC Clearance?
• Do you hold an ITIL Foundation qualification (or higher)?
• Can you evidence Level 1 & 2 technical assistance in a Service Desk/Walk Up Tech Bar/L2 Technical Support role?
• Do you have experience of using ServiceNow, (especially Reporting & Dashboarding)?
• Are you able to diagnose hardware and Windows OS issues?

I am recruiting for a prominent client who is looking for a Support Specialist who has all of the above! With an initial 6 month contract period, this could be extended, (to be confirmed)
