Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd seeks an SC-cleared IT Support Specialist for on-site duties in a Defence environment. You will deliver Level 1 and 2 support, troubleshoot devices, manage ServiceNow tickets, and own laptop builds and deployment in a UK-wide team.

The role requires strong communication, independent working style, and UK-hours flexibility. Active SC Clearance is essential; market-rate compensation applies.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required; Defence environment experience preferred.
• Experience in IT Service Desk or L2 support with hands-on laptop issues.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Experience building/deploying laptops and managing incidents via ITSM.
• Experience with ServiceNow reporting and dashboards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently on-site in the UK hours.
• ITIL Foundation or higher is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site L1/L2 IT support to users in a Defence environment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows OS, and network issues.
• Log and manage incidents via ServiceNow with updates.
• Own end-to-end laptop builds, configuration and deployment.
• Coordinate laptop stock, patches, and secure equipment return.
• Produce reports/dashboards for local support performance.
