Overview

A UK public sector organisation is seeking an experienced SAP HR Business Analyst to support HR transformation initiatives and drive improvements across SAP HCM modules. You’ll act as the liaison between HR stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured and delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse, document, and validate business requirements across core SAP HR/HCM modules (e.g. PA, OM, Time Management, Payroll).
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and support solution design.
  • Liaise with HR, IT, and SAP support teams to ensure alignment of system changes with strategic HR goals.
  • Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training activities.
  • Identify areas for system/process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on SAP HR/HCM projects in the UK public sector.
  • Strong understanding of SAP HR modules, including configuration and integration knowledge.
  • Experience in gathering and managing business requirements, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
Desirable
  • Familiarity with public sector HR/payroll processes and statutory requirements.
  • Experience working on SAP S/4HANA or SuccessFactors integration projects.
