Job summary

A leading lighting solutions company is seeking an experienced sales professional. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in sales within the lighting or electrical controls sector, and proficient communication skills. You will be responsible for managing sales, building relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities. A competitive salary of £30,000 to £55,000 per annum, plus commission, is offered, along with opportunities for career influence within the company.

We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the lighting, electrical controls, or related industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a sales-driven environment and is motivated.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Minimum 3 years’ sales experience within lighting, electrical controls, or a related sector
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to win new business
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage decision-makers at all levels
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently
• Full UK driving licence required

What will your role look like?

• Manage and grow sales
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, distributors, and local authorities
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within the lighting/street lighting/controls sector
• Work closely with internal teams to provide technical support, quotations, and tailored solutions
• Represent the business at meetings, events, and industry exhibitions

What can you expect in return?
