Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking an experienced Sales Service Engineer to join a leading global engineering and process technology business. The role combines technical engineering knowledge, customer relationship management and commercial development across the UK.

The position suits an experienced Sales Engineer or After-sales Engineer who understands process equipment and separation technology, and is comfortable working independently with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sales Engineering, Service Engineering, or technical sales.
• 3+ years with current employer and strong customer relationship ownership.
• Experience with process equipment or separation technology.
• Experience in industries such as food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical or environmental processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customers across the UK.
• Identify opportunities to develop service, aftermarket and equipment sales.
• Provide customers with technically credible advice and solutions.
• Support customers throughout the sales and service lifecycle.
• Develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Work closely with internal engineering, service and commercial teams to deliver customer requirements.
• Attend customer sites to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities.
• Prepare and follow up quotations, proposals and commercial opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information.
• Build long-term relationships with key decision makers and technical stakeholders.
• Represent my client professionally at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
