Job summary

GEA Group is recruiting a Sales Support Engineer to support the Separation Sales team across the UK, focusing on environmental applications. The role combines field-based technical support with customer interaction and ongoing equipment performance optimisation.

You will work with UK and Germany teams, conduct on-site trials, provide practical technical guidance, and help develop new business opportunities while travelling regularly within the UK. A company van is provided to support site work.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical or engineering qualification or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Hands-on approach with an interest in process equipment, commissioning, troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and adapt to field-based work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• On-site trials and sample testing to assess process performance and support research activities.
• Provide practical technical assistance, troubleshooting and process optimisation support.
• Deliver training and operational guidance to customer operators when required.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through site visits and ongoing support.
• Support development of new business opportunities by visiting prospective customers and providing technical input.
