Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to join the Separation Sales team, focusing on environmental applications including wastewater treatment and energy recovery. The role involves on-site trials, technical support, and customer training across the UK, with potential progression into a full sales role.

This field-based position requires a technical background, strong communication skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

A technical or engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
Willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

On-site trials and sample testing at customer locations to assess process performance.
Provide practical technical support, troubleshooting and process optimisation.
Deliver operator training and operational guidance to customer operators.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits and support.
Support development of new business opportunities by visiting prospective customers and providing technical input.
Collaborate with sales and technical colleagues in the UK and Germany to meet customer requirements.
Provide regular updates and reports on trial results, progress, and feedback.
