Job summary

Moorland Recruitment seeks a Senior Technical Support Engineer in Milton Keynes to provide high-level technical support across specialist industrial separation equipment. The role keeps you hands-on while moving into a senior, customer-facing engineering position.

You will troubleshoot complex equipment, support commissioning and performance optimisation, deliver condition-based monitoring, and train engineers and customers. Hybrid working and UK travel are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant service engineering experience.
• Experience with industrial separation or process equipment is a plus.
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.

We're recruiting for a Senior Technical Service Engineer to join a leading engineering business, providing high-level technical support across specialist industrial separation equipment.

This is a great step for an experienced Field Service Engineer who wants to remain technically hands-on while moving into a more senior support-focused position.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Providing advanced technical support to field engineers and customers
• Troubleshooting complex equipment and breakdown issues
• Supporting commissioning, installations and performance optimisation
• Working with OEM and engineering teams to develop technical solutions
• Delivering condition-based monitoring and preventative support
• Supporting and training engineers and customers
• Acting as a senior technical point of contact across the service function

We’re looking for someone with 5+ years’ relevant service engineering experience, ideally within industrial separation or process equipment, alongside strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.

• £55,000-£60,000 basic salary + bonus
