Sales Manager (Trade Success)

Salary £40,000 to £56,000 (dependent on experience)

Hybrid - London / Folkestone - Travel for this role will be required

We are seeking an exceptional Sales Manager (Trade Success) to join our team and help deliver our ambitious travel agency strategy. You are an industry-leading sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and a relentless drive to achieve sales goals by supporting our travel agent partners. You will motivate and challenge your team and internal partners to ensure Titan Travel is the best in class. Your focus is on flawless service and making Titan Travel the first choice for our travel agent partners. The Sales Manager (Trade Success) is a key role within the trade sales channel. You will be a primary contact for our travel agent partners, working closely with marketing, contact center, and operations to create processes that enhance Titan Travel's reputation and industry-leading trade NPS score. You will lead a team of three Training & Development Executives responsible for educating and motivating our partners to sell Titan Travel. The team will also manage account performance and drive KPIs such as online usage, product mix, and ASP.

Role Responsibilities

Account Management – Excellence Every day

  • Act as an ambassador for Titan Travel, demonstrating high product and sector knowledge to elevate the brand.
  • Create and implement the field team strategy, providing tools and support for success, focusing on strategic accounts.
  • Manage trade inbox and identify training needs and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the trade contact center to ensure timely responses to inquiries.
  • Work with operations to review cases and communicate effectively with partners.
  • Identify and plan trade partner training needs.
  • Manage relationships with key training partners like Tipto, ATAS, and Travel Gossip to support our roadshow strategy.
  • Promote participation in Titan Rewards to increase upselling and focus on business priorities.
  • Develop training plans with Strategic & Business Development Sales Managers.
  • Assist in hosting customer educational trips with the Director of Trade Engagement.
  • Maximize engagement with TITANium and trade communication sign-ups.

Strategic Planning – Make It Happen

  • Hold regular meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Set targets and timelines for process improvements, managing a quarterly development plan.
  • Analyze account activity and performance regularly, identifying opportunities and implementing action plans.
  • Develop trade campaign engagement plans, including incentives.
  • Monitor competitor activity to keep Titan Travel ahead in the sector.

Flawless Execution – Do the Right Thing / Customer First

  • Deliver on promises and be a trusted partner to your accounts.
  • Implement, track, and assess sales and marketing activities for ROI.
  • Own issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Manage workload effectively to maximize account engagement and administrative tasks.

Team Leadership – Our People Make Us Special

  • Lead the field team of three Training & Development Executives.
  • Collaborate with the wider sales team to achieve revenue goals.
  • Ensure the trade sales team is well-supported with necessary tools and resources.
The Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years in trade sales or account management roles
  • Experience in people leadership
  • Background in sales and travel industry roles
  • Travel agency experience is a plus
