Job description

Wavix is a global communication platform offering a robust suite of tools designed to streamline and optimise communication workflows - from essential services like phone numbers, SIP trunks, and SMS to advanced visual builders for high-frequency use cases, to emerging AI-powered speech analytics and conversational bot technology.

About The Opportunity

Wavix seeks a charismatic and well-connected Wholesale Manager to join its rapidly growing business team across Europe or Remote.

About You:

You lead with value in sales, easily navigating objections and closing deals with precision. Your expertise helps you identify the right questions to ask, when to be persistent, and who to engage to achieve optimal results. Working closely with Commercial Operations, you’ll evaluate potential providers, test routes, and identify top destinations to be promoted.

Responsibilities

  1. Dynamically negotiate SMS commercials to maximize value for Wavix.
  2. Establish and optimize processes for effective SMS trading and manage buy-sell interactions with SMS partners.
  3. Use your industry network to identify and onboard valuable SMS partners for Wavix.
  4. Liaise with operators, aggregators, and industry organizations to position Wavix as a key player in the messaging market.
  5. Source niche SMS service providers to bridge coverage gaps and boost delivery rates in strategic areas.
  6. Develop innovative SMS trading models that deliver unique selling points (USP) and sustainable revenue streams.
  7. Maintain the SMS partner pipeline in Wavix’s CRM, ensuring accuracy and currency of information.
  8. Collaborate with Product Managers to enhance and diversify Wavix’s messaging offerings.
  9. Negotiate SMS service contracts and SLAs in partnership with the legal team.
  10. Leverage Wavix’s product portfolio to expand and strengthen the SMS business.

Education

  1. At least 2 years of experience in an SMS sales role within the Telecom industry.
  2. Proven track record of success in sales and relationship-building.
  3. Strong network of industry contacts.
  4. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; other languages are a plus.
  5. Self-driven with a passion for achieving results.
  6. High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
