Sales Executive
Location: Peterborough (Office-based)
Salary: £30,000 basic + bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time (around 9am-5pm)

We're currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Executive to join a growing organisation based in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Executive who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and being part of a fast‑paced, rewarding environment.
As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for developing new opportunities, engaging decision‑makers, and helping drive company growth through proactive outbound activity. You'll work closely with a supportive management team who value initiative, collaboration, and results.
The Role
- Make proactive outbound calls to potential customers across a variety of industries.
- Identify and qualify leads, understanding client needs and challenges.
- Present products and services clearly and confidently to secure interest and appointments.
- Convert both warm and cold leads into booked meetings, demonstrations, or call‑backs.
- Follow up on marketing campaigns, inbound enquiries and database leads.
- Manage your personal sales pipeline, ensuring all notes and next steps are logged accurately in the CRM.
- Work to structured activity and conversion targets as part of a supportive team.
- Share feedback and ideas to help improve sales processes and outreach strategies.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience in a Sales Executive, telesales, or business development role (B2B or B2C).
- Confident communicator with a persuasive, professional telephone manner.
- Target‑driven, proactive, and resilient in managing a busy workload.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and CRM accuracy.
- Comfortable with high outbound activity and working toward daily/weekly goals.
Desirable
- Experience in solution‑based sales or within industries such as construction, manufacturing, or trade supply.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho).
- Ability to adapt sales conversations to different customer types and markets.
