Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support our dynamic sales team. You will be the first point of contact for customer accounts, manage enquiries, process orders and help revive lapsed accounts to maintain smooth operations.

Working with Sales Executives, purchasing and logistics, you’ll use MS Dynamics and Microsoft Office to track leads, update records and monitor activity, delivering excellent service and contributing to growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months experience in a sales coordination, administration, or support role.
• Proven ability to handle customer enquiries and outbound calls in a phone-based environment.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (MS Dynamics advantageous) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support sales growth by managing and streamlining order progression and customer communications.
• Use MS Dynamics to track leads, update records, and monitor sales activity.
• Proactively contact lapsed accounts to unlock up-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Executives, purchasing and logistics to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Handle customer enquiries and process orders with accuracy to maintain service excellence.
