Job description

**About the job**. Ascott Hospitality UK is seeking an experienced and confident Sales Coordinator to join our team. You will report to the CRO Manager, supporting the Sales and Reservations team with administration and booking inquiries to achieve confirmed revenue across our portfolio of properties.

Responsibilities:
  1. Track each sales opportunity to close successfully.
  2. Act as a positive ambassador for EU properties, ensuring that the brand image is strengthened and maintained in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
  3. Coordinate requests for groups and long-stay proposals for EU properties.
  4. Manage all related administration for groups and long stays inquiries.
  5. Ensure all related tasks are completed and communicated to the appropriate hotel departments.
  6. Maintain up-to-date property information related to customer requirements, interests, and market activities.
  7. Use Salesforce to input, maintain, and plan targeted sales activities.
  8. Build relationships with bookers to encourage repeat business.
  9. Handle, convert, and close inquiries within agreed service levels.
  10. Support up-selling of rooms to enhance company performance.
  11. Liaise with clients to meet their requirements and manage expectations.
  12. Provide support for other Sales Coordinators and Reservations Agents when required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a relevant sales environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Good administrative and organizational skills.
  • Opera Cloud/RMS PMS experience (desirable).
  • Guest service and relationship management focus.
