Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing LTD is recruiting an experienced Sales Controller for an established automotive dealership in Reading. You will support the Sales team, drive performance and ensure robust lead management and pricing processes.

You will mentor Sales Executives, track KPIs, and help maximise monthly and quarterly targets while maintaining high customer service standards throughout the sales journey.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an automotive Sales environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales targets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence supporting and motivating a Sales team.
• A proactive and organised approach.
• The ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good administration skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the Sales Department.
• Helping the team achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitoring individual and departmental performance.
• Supporting and coaching Sales Executives where required.
• Managing customer enquiries and helping progress sales opportunities.
• Ensuring strong follow-up and lead management processes.
• Supporting vehicle pricing, appraisals and deal structures.
• Working closely with the Sales Manager on departmental performance.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service throughout the sales process.
• Ensuring CRM systems and customer records are kept accurate and up to date.
• Helping drive additional products and services where appropriate.

SALES CONTROLLER

£30,000 BASIC SALARY | £55,000 OTE | AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced Sales Controller to join an established automotive dealership and play a key role in supporting the Sales team and driving performance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong automotive sales experience who enjoys working in a target-driven environment and has the confidence to help develop a successful team.

THE ROLE

You'll work closely with the Sales Manager and wider Sales team to help maximise performance, maintain strong customer service and ensure every opportunity is followed through.
