Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing LTD in Newbury is seeking an experienced Sales Controller to support a franchised dealership. The role focuses on structuring deals, driving finance and add-ons, and maximizing performance to achieve targets.

You will lead and support the sales team, monitor commercial performance and ensure outstanding customer experience while working with management to meet dealership objectives. Monday–Saturday with one weekday off.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sales Controller/Transaction Manager in automotive sector.
• Franchised dealership experience preferred.

NEWBURY | £30,000 BASIC | £60,000 OTE | MONDAY–SATURDAY + 1 DAY OFF | SUNDAYS OFF

A strong opportunity for an experienced automotive Sales Controller, Transaction Manager or Business Manager looking for a role where commercial performance, team support and customer experience all matter.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Controller to join an established automotive dealership in Newbury.

This is a commercially focused position, supporting the sales team, helping structure and maximise deals, and driving strong performance across finance and additional products.

THE PACKAGE INCLUDES

• £30,000 basic salary
• £60,000 OTE
• Monday–Saturday
• 1 day off during the week
• Sundays off

THE ROLE

• Supporting and driving the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
• Structuring and maximising vehicle deals
• Driving finance and additional product performance
• Supporting sales executives throughout the sales process
• Monitoring and improving commercial performance
• Maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience
• Working closely with the wider management team to deliver dealership objectives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous automotive Sales Controller, Transaction Manager or Business Manager experience
• Franchised dealership experience preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of automotive sales
• Confident supporting, motivating and challenging a sales team
• Strong understanding of finance, add-ons and deal structure
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
