Job summary

Jago Consultants is recruiting for a franchised dealership hiring a Sales Controller near Guildford. Starting salary is £20k, rising to £25k after 6 months, with scope for progression in a busy sales environment.

The role reports to the General Sales Manager and involves coordinating Sales Executives, supporting F&I activities, and maintaining records. Experience in selling, finance, invoicing and staff management is valued, with a valid driving licence essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sales Controller, Business Manager or Transaction Manager is ideal.
• Good working knowledge of Kerridge or similar DO training will be provided to build on your systems knowledge and to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Proven experience with selling, finance, invoicing, managing accounts, staff management and administrative duties.
• Valid driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• To report to the General Sales Manager, coordinating the daily activities of the Sales Executives.
• Provide support, coaching and assistance to maximise sales volume and profitability, focusing on chassis and F&I KPI’s.
• Oversee the enquiry management process and ensure customer satisfaction standards are maintained.
• Promote the professional image of the dealership and uphold high customer service standards.
• Maintain accurate records for vehicle sales and finance transactions to enable regular performance reviews against targets.
• Be involved in vehicle part-exchange appraisals/valuations, and in controlling and finalising sales deals.

Our client is a franchised dealership, who are now seeking to recruit an experienced Sales Controller Near Guildford:

Basic Starting at £20k, raising to £25k after 6 Months

• To report to the General Sales Manager, you will be co-ordinating the daily activities of the Sales Executives
• To provide support, coaching and assistance to maximise sales volume and profitability being primarily responsible for achieving both chassis and F&I KPI’s
• To be experienced with all aspects of the F&I functions in order to maximise sales profitability
• To oversee the enquiry management process
• To promote at all times the professional image of the dealership and ensure that customer satisfaction standards are maintained
• To maintain accurate and up to date records for vehicle sales and finance transactions to facilitate regular reviews of performance against targets.
• To be involved in vehicle part-exchange appraisals / valuations, controlling and sales deals

As a Sales Controller you will be:

Experience of working as either Sales Controller, Business Manager or Transaction Manager is ideal

To have a good working knowledge of Kerridge or an alternative DO training will be given to build on your existing knowledge of systems and to comply with FSA regulation
To be self-motivated and have a strong desire to succeed.
To have a positive, customer focused attitude and approach to your work
Proven experience with strong exposure in selling, finance, invoicing, managing accounts, staff management and administrative duties.
