Job summary

Plumb Centre in Newmarket is seeking a Sales Assistant to support customers at the trade counter, provide product guidance and process orders. The role includes handling inquiries by phone and email, and proactive outreach to re-engage customers.

Based in our Newmarket branch, you will join a team focused on delivering excellent service, with basic plumbing knowledge preferred and willingness to assist across warehouse tasks. 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with Saturday mornings on rota.

Qualifications

• Plumbing & heating knowledge is desirable.
• Face-to-face sales and customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the trade counter with advice and product recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously.
• Make outbound calls to previous customers to regain business.
• Identify and pursue opportunities todrive sales within the branch.
• General warehouse duties including stocking, picking and packing orders, handling heavy items.
