Plumb Centre Ilkeston is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our Ilkeston branch. You will serve customers at the trade counter, provide product recommendations and quotations, and build lasting relationships with trade customers.

This full-time, 40-hour role includes occasional Saturday work on a rota, with a benefits package including pension, discounts, healthcare, and more.

Formación

• Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial.
• Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position.
• Great communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch.
• A full UK Manual Driving licence is preferable.

Responsabilidades

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders

As a Sales Assistant based in our Ilkeston branch you'll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders

This is a full time, 40 hour permanent role - Monday to Friday between 7:30am - 4:30pm. Saturday working on a rota basis, 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime.
