Plumb Centre in High Wycombe is recruiting a Sales Assistant to join our busy trade counter. You’ll assist customers, offer product recommendations and support daily store operations.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30–17:00 with Saturday mornings on a rota. A driving license is desirable and plumbing knowledge is a plus; prior trade counter or sales experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Driving licence highly desirable.
• Plumbing & Heating knowledge ideal.
• Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers on the trade counter and offer recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email promptly.
• Pursue opportunities to drive sales within the branch.
• Handle stock, packing, and warehouse duties including heavy items.
• Deliver locally in a 3.5t van on a rota basis.
• Work 40 hours per week: Mon–Fri 07:30–17:00, Sat mornings on a 1 in 4/5 rota.
