Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited, Fareham branch, is seeking a Sales Assistant to serve customers on the trade counter, advise on plumbing products and provide quotes. The role is full-time, 40 hours, Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm, with opportunities for bonus and benefits.

With knowledge of plumbing and heating beneficial, you will build relationships to drive repeat business, handle enquiries by phone and email, and assist in warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a face-to-face sales/customer service position.
• Great communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Willing to support in all areas of the branch.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Building relationships with customers to drive repeat business and maximise lifetime value.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email, providing quotes promptly and courteously.
• General warehouse duties including stock handling and picking/packing orders.

As a Sales Assistant based in our Fareham branch you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders

This is a full time, 40 hour permanent role - Monday to Friday between 7:30am - 4:30pm.
