Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Sales Assistant for our Norwich branch. You will help customers at the trade counter with product recommendations, answer calls and emails, and actively seek sales opportunities while supporting warehouse tasks.

We value plumbing& heating knowledge, prior face-to-face sales experience, and a team-focused attitude. The role runs Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota, and includes benefits such as pension and bonuses.

As a **Sales Assistant** based in our **Norwich** branch you’ll be responsible for: * Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations.* Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.* Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business.* Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers.* General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets.
