Job summary

clubrugby in Sutton Coldfield seeks a Sales and Ops Manager to head up sales and operations for its 18-hole pay-and-play golf club. You will drive golf and fitness memberships, develop events, and work closely with the GM, Head Greenkeeper, and front-of-house teams.

The role targets around 15 golf memberships per month and 50 fitness memberships, plus leading prospecting, referrals, and social media initiatives. Salary is 32K with 30 days holiday and free golf/leisure memberships.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for golf (and ideally fitness)
• Experience in senior sales or sales management within leisure/hospitality
• Proactive in generating new business and outbound calls

Responsibilities

• Maximise sales of golf and fitness memberships, golf events, society days, functions and events
• Deliver effective prospecting, networking and referral schemes
• Meet KPIs for new contacts, appointments, tours, sales and referrals
• Ensure social media platforms are optimised to drive enquiries and awareness
• Train and support front-line teams on the sales process and products
• Support the GM with day-to-day operations, H&S and rota management
• Carry out duty management shifts

We are looking for candidate who has a huge passion and interest for the game of golf to head up the sales and operations for this well-developed 18 hole pay and play golf course in Sutton Coldfield. There are around 320 golf members and 860 gym members at the club that turns over more than £1m per annum.

You will typically have a sales target of around 15 golf memberships per month and 50 fitness memberships and will work very closely with the GM, Head Greenkeeper, fitness and front of house teams at the club. Key responsibilities include:

• Maximise sales of both golf and fitness memberships, golf and society days, functions, and events..
• Deliver effective prospecting, networking, and referral schemes through in reach and outreach.
• Meet KPIS for generating new contacts, appointments, tours, sales, and referrals.
• Ensure all social media platforms are optimised to drive enquiries and awareness.
• To train & support the front-line teams on the sales process and products.
• To support the GM running the day-to-day operation, H and S and rota management.
