Job summary

Leisure People is seeking a Sales and Operations Manager for a premier 18-hole golf club in Sutton Coldfield. The role heads sales and day-to-day operations, targeting around 15 golf memberships and 50 fitness memberships per month, with a turnover over £1m annually.

The position focuses on driving memberships, events, and partnerships, while coordinating with GM, greenkeeping, and front-of-house teams. Salary £32K plus benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maximise sales of golf and fitness memberships, society days, functions and events.
• Deliver prospecting, networking and referral schemes to drive enquiries.

• Optimize social media to drive awareness and enquiries.
• Train front-line teams on sales processes and product offerings.
• Support GM with day-to-day operations, H&S and rota management.
• Carry out duty management shifts.

Sales and Operations Manager - Golf Club

Sutton Coldfield 32K

We are looking for candidate who has a huge passion and interest for the game of golf to head up the sales and operations for this well-developed 18 hole pay and play golf course in Sutton Coldfield. There are around 320 golf members and 860 gym members at the club that turns over more than £1m per annum. You will typically have a sales target of around 15 golf memberships per month and 50 fitness memberships and will work very closely with the GM, Head Greenkeeper, fitness and front of house teams at the club. Key responsibilities include:

• Maximise sales of both golf and fitness memberships, golf and society days, functions, and events..
• Deliver effective prospecting, networking, and referral schemes through in reach and outreach.
• Meet KPIS for generating new contacts, appointments, tours, sales, and referrals.
• Ensure all social media platforms are optimised to drive enquiries and awareness.
• To train & support the front-line teams on the sales process and products.
• To support the GM running the day-to-day operation, H and S and rota management.
• Carry out duty management shifts,
