Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC in St Ives, Cambridgeshire is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Support to join a growing team. The role offers £28,000–£30,000 per annum with hours Monday–Friday 9am–5pm.

You will develop relationships with customers, generate sales opportunities via phone and email, and support quotes while collaborating with internal teams to ensure excellent service. A background in sales or account management and CRM proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service, or account management.
• Proactive, target-driven approach with strong communication.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
• Proactively generate sales opportunities via telephone and email.
• Follow up quotations, samples and enquiries to convert opportunities into sales.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Prepare quotations and support sales targets.
• Re-engage dormant customers and develop new business.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
