Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Support professional to join our growing sales team in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The role offers a salary of £28,000–£30,000 per year and standard hours of Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

The successful candidate will have experience in sales, customer service or account management, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have sales, customer service or account management experience.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
• Proactively generate sales opportunities via telephone and email.
• Follow up quotations, samples and enquiries to convert opportunities into sales.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Prepare quotations and support sales targets.
• Re-engage dormant customers and develop new business.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
