Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC in St Ives, Cambridgeshire is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Support to join a growing sales team. The role focuses on developing relationships with new and existing customers and proactively generating sales opportunities via telephone and email.

You will follow up quotations, manage accounts in CRM, and work with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service. Strong Maths and English GCSEs and experience in sales or account management are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service or account management.
• Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• A proactive, organised and target-driven approach.
• Good Maths and English qualifications (GCSE Grade 4/C or above).

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
• Proactively generate sales opportunities via telephone and email.
• Follow up quotations, samples and enquiries to convert opportunities into sales.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Prepare quotations and support sales targets.
• Re-engage dormant customers and develop new business.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
