Job summary

BMS Engineering Recruitment is sourcing a Safe Moving & Handling Assessor – Product Specialist for South London, Surrey, Sussex & Kent. Field-based with a company van, the role appeals to OT or Physiotherapist backgrounds seeking a clinical field position.

You will coordinate with occupational therapists and nurses, deliver product training, and manage your territory with a patient-first approach. A strong package backs the role and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Ideally an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
• OR relevant commercial experience within healthcare/medical devices.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient-facing skills.
• Empathetic, clinically credible and patient-focused.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialist seating assessments for patients with complex clinical needs.
• Assess individual requirements and recommend appropriate postural seating solutions.
• Build strong relationships with occupational therapists, nurses and wider MDTs.
• Deliver clinical education and product training.
• Collaborate closely with the commercial and sales teams.
• Manage your territory independently while maintaining a patient-first, ethical approach.
