Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG in Hatfield, Milton Keynes and Nottingham is seeking an IT Asset & Configuration Manager to strengthen SACM across IT operations. This hybrid role requires security clearance and will lead SACM policy development, CMDB accuracy, and governance to optimise costs and compliance.

You will work with IT service management to improve data quality and deliver regular SACM reports. Requires 2+ years in IT Asset Management and familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT Asset Management or related role.
• Experience with ITSM/asset tools (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Remedy).
• Strong SACM understanding and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SACM policies, standards and procedures
• Operationally lead a team in day-to-day activities
• Ensure the CMDB is accurate, up-to-date and compliant with standards
• Develop and optimise SACM processes for stakeholders, ITIL functions and service owners
• Deliver regular reports on SACM activities with insights and recommendations
• Monitor asset utilisation and cost optimisation recommendations
• Assist with testing and configuration of Asset/CI tooling integrations
