Job summary

Tech Talent ID is seeking a Service Asset and Configuration Management Analyst to join our IT team and help deliver best practices, policies, and templates that underpin essential support services.

You will identify and verify assets, manage licenses, and ensure accurate configuration data while supporting audits and continual service improvement within SACM. This onsite role requires residing within commutable distance to the Newquay area in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Experience working within an ITIL-based service management framework.
• ITIL v4 Foundation beneficial.
• ServiceNow ITOM/ITAM knowledge desirable.
• BMC Helix training beneficial.

Job description

Service Asset and Configuration Management Analyst is required to work as part of a small team in delivering best practice and assist in creating/adopting policy, process, procedure, templates and work instruction documentation. These processes underpin vital IT support services across this business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying and verifying assets across the organisation and manage how they form systems
• improve efficiencies and service quality
• Provide accurate and consistent asset and configuration data
• Assist with internal/external audits
• Software license and hardware asset compliance with vendors
• Process new software requests
• Manage allocation of subscription-based licenses
• Ensure all services are defined, mapped/managed with the Configuration Management System
• Support continual service improvement across SACM

Essential Requirements:

• Good Windows and Mac operating systems knowledge
• Experience working within ITIL based service management framework
• ITIL v4 Foundation is beneficial
• ServiceNow ITOM/ITAM and any BMC Helix training is beneficial
