Job summary

Actian is seeking a highly technical Tech Lead to guide a small feature team. You will write backend code, architect robust systems, and drive delivery with AI-augmented velocity.

You’ll own technical execution using a modern SaaS stack (Scala, Python, TypeScript) and mentor 3–4 engineers through reviews and pair programming. You will collaborate with Product to align features with business goals, ensure multi-tenant cloud scalability, and maintain production health.

Qualifications

• Deep backend engineering experience building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms.
• Strong production-proven experience with Scala; Python or TypeScript are a plus.
• Must have deep experience using AI coding agents and reviewing AI-generated code for security or architecture.

• Hands-on coding and execution: write high-quality backend code and tackle complex challenges.
