Job summary

Actian is seeking a highly technical Tech Lead to guide a small feature team of 3–4 engineers. You will write backend code, architect robust SaaS systems, and lead by example, using a modern stack with Scala, Python, and TypeScript.

You will leverage AI coding agents to amplify output without compromising quality. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, own the technical execution, and ensure multi-tenant cloud deployments run smoothly in production.

Qualifications

• Deep backend engineering experience building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms.
• Strong production-proven experience writing code in Scala; Python or TypeScript a big plus.
• Deep experience using AI coding agents in daily work; prompt effectively and review AI-generated code.
• You love building systems and shipping features over management paperwork.
• You care about product goals and user impact.
