Job summary

Actian is seeking a highly technical Tech Lead to guide a small feature team of 3–4 engineers. You will write exceptional backend code, architect scalable cloud-native systems, and lead by example.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, modern stacks (Scala, Python, TypeScript), and leveraging AI agents to increase velocity without compromising quality. You will mentor the team, collaborate with Product Managers, ensure production health, and own the end-to-end feature lifecycle for multi-tenant

Qualifications

• Deep backend experience building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms.
• Strong Scala experience; Python or TypeScript skills are a plus.
• Proven ability to use AI coding agents to boost engineering output.
• Builder mindset focused on delivering features over management.
• Excellent English communication with product stakeholders.
