Ruby on Rails Developer - Remote - UK based - Up to £85K - SaaS

Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal stage of growth and requires a Senior Ruby Developer to join the team.

They have developed industry-leading software for several household names and are preparing for their next growth phase.

The Role:

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience solving problems in secure, scalable, and maintainable ways.

The tech stack primarily includes Rails, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

They value pragmatic use of the best tools for the job and expect candidates to take a lead role in developing their core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required:

1. Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
2. Experience operating large systems following an SRE approach
3. API development and integration experience
4. Experience testing large, complex applications using TDD
5. Designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
6. Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools is a plus

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and abroad. While occasional meetings and social events occur, your daily work will be from home.
