Ruby on Rails Developer - Remote - UK based - Up to £85K - SaaS

Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal growth stage and requires a Senior Ruby Developer to join their team.

The company has developed industry-leading software used by household names and is preparing for its next phase of expansion.

The Role:

They seek experienced developers passionate about creating unprecedented solutions. Facing unique business and technical scale challenges, they need problem solvers to address these challenges effectively.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience in developing secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

The current tech stack includes Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team values pragmatic use of the best tools for each problem and expects candidates to lead the development of core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required:

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience managing large systems with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using test-driven development
• Designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools is a plus

This is a fully remote role; the team is distributed across the UK and internationally. While occasional meetings and social events are held, day-to-day work is from home.
