Ruby Developer - Remote - UK based - Up to £85K - SaaS

Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS startup that is at a pivotal stage of growth and requires a Senior Ruby Developer to join their team.

They have developed industry-leading software for well-known clients and are preparing for their next growth phase.

The Role :

The company seeks experienced developers passionate about building innovative solutions. They face unique business and technical challenges and need problem solvers to help overcome them.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience in developing secure, scalable, and maintainable applications.

The current tech stack includes Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team values pragmatic use of the best tools for the job and expects candidates to lead the development of core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience operating large systems (following an SRE approach)
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using TDD
• Designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
• Experience with image manipulation tools like OpenCV (preferred)

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and internationally. Occasional meetings and social events are held in person, but daily work is remote.
