Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal point in its growth and is looking for a Senior Ruby Developer to join the team.

They have already developed industry-leading software for several household names and are preparing for their next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They seek experienced developers who are excited about building unprecedented solutions. Facing unique business and scalability challenges, they need problem solvers to tackle distinctive technical issues.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience solving problems in a secure, scalable, and maintainable manner.

The current tech stack primarily involves Rails, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team is pragmatic about selecting the best tools to address specific problems and expects candidates to take a leadership role in developing core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience managing large systems (following SRE principles)
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using a test-driven approach
• Previous experience designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools is a plus

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and internationally. While there are occasional meetings and social events, your daily work will be from home.
