Ruby Developer - Remote - UK based - Up to £85K - SaaS

Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS startup that is at a pivotal stage of growth and requires a Senior Ruby Developer to join the team.

They have already developed industry-leading software for household names and are preparing for their next growth phase.

The Role:

They seek experienced developers excited about building new and innovative solutions. Facing unique business and scaling challenges, they need problem solvers to address technical complexities.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience in developing secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.

The tech stack primarily includes Rails, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

They prioritize using the best tools for each problem and expect candidates to lead the development of core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required:

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience managing large systems following SRE principles
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications with a test-driven approach
• Designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image processing tools (helpful but not mandatory)

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and internationally. While occasional meetings and social events are held, daily work will be from home.
