Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal growth stage and is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join their team.

They have developed industry-leading software for several household names and are preparing for their next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They seek experienced developers who are excited about building innovative solutions. Due to unique business and scaling challenges, they need problem solvers to tackle technical hurdles.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience in creating secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

The current tech stack primarily involves Rails, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team is pragmatic about choosing the best tools for each problem and expects candidates to lead in developing core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience managing large systems with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using test-driven development
• Designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools (beneficial)

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and abroad. While there are occasional meetings and social events, your daily work will be from home.
