Job summary

Winner Education in Leatherhead, Surrey, seeks an experienced Room Leader to deliver high-quality early years care and education in a unique environment. You will support children’s development in line with EYFS standards and guide a team to maintain outstanding learning experiences.

The role offers progression into management, a salary up to £35,000, and benefits including holiday allowance, childcare discounts, and wellness perks. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Must have Full & relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Experience in an Early Years setting, ideally as Room Leader or senior practitioner
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child protection
• Excellent communication and a passion for early childhood education
• Commitment to delivering high standards of care

Are you looking for an exciting Room Leader role in a unique Early Years environment based in Surrey? We are looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join the team in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-quality early year's provider, offering a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and grow. You will provide a high standard of care and education to the children placed within our care. We are also looking for candidates who are keen for career progression and move into management positions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver activities that meet children's developmental needs
• Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards

• Lead and support colleagues to maintain high-quality care and learning
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies
• Provide a rich and enabling environment for all learners

The successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to:

• Full & relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification - essential
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, experienced Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator)
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
• A commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
