Job summary

The Learning Experience UK in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced Room Leader to join our Leatherhead Nursery. You will lead the nursery room, plan engaging activities that meet children’s developmental needs, and provide a safe, nurturing environment where children learn, play, and grow.

You will work to EYFS standards, monitor progress, and communicate with families to build strong relationships. We offer funded qualifications, CPD, and a supportive, professional workplace focused on

• Experience in an Early Years setting as Room Leader or similar.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection.

Nursery Room Leader – Leatherhead

Salary: Up to £35,006 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey

Eligibility: The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment. Please note that this role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator)
• Strong knowledge ofEYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
• A commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
