The Learning Experience UK in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced Nursery Room Leader to guide activities and foster a safe, playful learning environment for young children.

You will lead a small team in daily EYFS-aligned routines, monitor development milestones, and build strong relationships with families through open communication. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must have full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years setting (Nursery) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education.
• Commitment to delivering the highest standards of care.

Nursery Room Leader – Leatherhead

Salary: Up to £35,006 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Full & relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification – essential
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator)
• Strong knowledge ofEYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
