Job summary

The Learning Experience UK is looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our Leatherhead Nursery. You will lead a team and deliver high-quality early years care, ensuring children learn, play, and grow in a nurturing environment.

We offer a competitive salary up to £35,006 with enhanced holiday, overtime, staff discounts, and development opportunities including funded qualifications and CPD.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3+ Early Years qualification – essential.
• Experience in an Early Years setting (Room Leader or similar).
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent communication skills and passion for early childhood education.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of care.

• Plan and deliver activities that meet children’s developmental needs.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards.

Nursery Room Leader – Leatherhead

Salary: Up to £35,006 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey

• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator)
• Strong knowledge ofEYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
