Job summary

Crerar Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain high cleanliness standards across our hotels in Scotland and the Lake District. You will prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms, refresh linen, and support laundry duties while ensuring a welcoming guest experience.

Flexibility across days, reliability, and a neat personal appearance are essential. You will report issues to the Head Housekeeper, follow safety guidelines, and uphold our standards of hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a hotel housekeeper is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.
• Reliable and flexible to work across various days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Assist with laundry and linen distribution.
• Replenish guest supplies.
• Report lost property or damaged items to Head Housekeeper.
• Ensure housekeeping cupboards are stocked.
• Clean corridor areas within assigned section.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and perform other duties as requested.

Room Attendant

As a Room Attendant at Crerar Hotels, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Ideally, you will have previous experience as a housekeeper in a hotel, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are equally important. Reliability, excellent personal presentation, and a passion for customer service are essential. The role requires you to work flexibly across various days of the week. You will prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms, assist with laundry and linen distribution, and replenish guest supplies. Additionally, you will report any lost property or damaged items to the Head Housekeeper and ensure housekeeping cupboards are well-stocked. In your role, you'll also clean corridor areas within your assigned section, follow all health and safety guidelines, and complete any other duties requested by the Head Housekeeper. A collaborative approach and the ability to work under pressure will help you succeed in this dynamic role.
