Job summary

Crerar Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain high cleanliness standards across our hotels in Scotland and the Lake District. You will prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms, assist with laundry, replenish supplies, and report any issues to the Head Housekeeper.

A collaborative, customer‑focused approach helps you succeed in this busy, rewarding role. Ideal candidates have housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar role preferred.
• Reliability and a keen eye for detail are essential.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms to Crerar standards.
• Assist with laundry and linen distribution.
• Replenish guest supplies and report lost property.
• Clean corridors and keep housekeeping cupboards stocked.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and perform other duties as required.

You will prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms, assist with laundry and linen distribution, and replenish guest supplies. Additionally, you will report any lost property or damaged items to the Head Housekeeper and ensure housekeeping cupboards are well-stocked. In your role, you'll also clean corridor areas within your assigned section, follow all health and safety guidelines, and complete any other duties requested by the Head Housekeeper. A collaborative approach and the ability to work under pressure will help you succeed in this dynamic role.
