Roofing Gear in Poole, part of the Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), is seeking a Sales Supervisor to lead our Trade Counter and Internal Sales teams. You will drive sales, build relationships with roofing contractors and trade customers, and support the Branch Manager in hitting targets and margins.

Ideal candidates have merchanting or roofing sector experience and a proactive approach to winning new business, with a focus on customer service and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in roofing or builders merchant environments is essential.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record in leading sales teams.
• Good commercial awareness and margin management ability.
• Roofing product knowledge is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Trade Counter and Internal Sales teams.
• Drive sales growth through proactive customer contact and quotation follow-up.
• Build strong relationships with roofing contractors and trade customers.
• Support the Branch Manager in achieving sales and profit targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
• Monitor sales performance using Power BI and branch reports.
• Manage margins and ensure enquiries are processed efficiently.
